Algos Preclinical Services will have a significant presence at the largest CNS conference in the USA, the Society for Neuroscience, in Chicago from October 17-21, 2009. Three posters in the area of preclinical in vivo pain research will be presented. In addition, booth #600 on the exhibit floor has been reserved for Algos to interact with our customers. To complete the process of converting to that of a contract research service provider, Algos Therapeutics, Inc. will now be conducting business as Algos Preclinical Services. Frank Eichmann, Director of Marketing, summed it up when he said, “Expertise in pain, stellar service and definitive results” are very important in this space; our brand and marketing efforts need to establish that we are now focused purely on providing contract research services for our customers. They are our focus from this point forward.” The company is not undergoing a legal name change, but rather is repositioning its public persona. The change will therefore not require the revising of any service agreements between Algos and its customers.
