Our skilled, experienced staff measure behavioral endpoints quickly and accurately to evaluate analgesic compounds and validate novel approaches. Our team is capable of dosing test substances using a variety of standard routes including intravenous, intraperitoneal, subcutaneous, intramuscular, epidural, and oral. We are also prepared to dose compounds directly to the CNS by intrathecal or intraventricular catheters or pumps.
Each model is validated with reference compounds (e.g., gabapentin, morphine or others, as required by our partners). Careful monitoring and observation ensures that gross motor or behavioral impairment does not confound the interpretation of the behavioral endpoints. Finally, we deliver raw and analyzed data with rigorous statistical analysis for every project. A modular per-arm pricing approach facilitates flexible experimental design to accommodate our clients’ needs.
