Gary
Smaby is a principal at Quatris Fund, a venture capital fund that
offers promising Minnesota-based companies start-up financing and
strategic advice. Following a successful ten-year entrepreneurial
career, Mr. Smaby joined the Minneapolis-based investment banking
firm of Piper Jaffray in 1982 where he built an international reputation
as a leading Wall Street analyst in the information technology
sector, encompassing a broad spectrum from high-performance workstations
and supercomputers to networking and decision support systems.
After forming Smaby Group, Inc. in 1989, Mr. Smaby set out to use
his experience and contacts to keep clients abreast of the emerging
trends that shape the technology landscape. Over the last decade,
his retainer clients have included corporate giants like AT&T,
Cray, HP, IBM, Intel, SGI, Sun, and Unisys, as well as many high-profile
start-ups. He also serves on the boards of many companies and institutions,

John A. Rollwagen, Director
For the
last decade, John Rollwagen has been an investor and business advisor
specializing in information technology. He is currently a principal
at Quatris Fund, a venture capital fund that offers promising Minnesota-based
companies start-up financing and strategic advice. Mr. Rollwagen
has been affiliated with St. Paul Venture Capital as an advisor
and venture partner since 1993. Prior to that, he was chairman
and chief executive officer of Cray Research, Inc., the leading
supplier of supercomputers worldwide. During his tenure, he led
Cray Research from a start-up operation with less than 100 people
to a highly profitable and internationally respected Fortune 500
company with annual revenues in excess of $800 million and more
than 5,000 employees in 21 countries. Mr. Rollwagen serves on several
public and private company boards including the board of directors
for Algos Therapeutics. Mr. Rollwagen earned his MBA from the Harvard
Business School and his BSEE from the Massachusetts Institute of
