Models and Assays

Critical to preclinical discovery is the concept of measuring the efficacy of a test entity against various in vivo conditions that model human disease states. Do any of these models offer a complete picture of how well the concept works in humans? Certainly not. Instead, rodent models provide important snap-shots of efficacy, and with them we build a larger picture upon which the go/no-go decision to proceed to clinical development is made. Following, is a chart of all the models and endpoints we currently employ. If you’d like to know which test compounds were used, please contact us. We’re pleased to provide the complete list when we speak with you in person. info AT algosinc.com
